Tipping Bucket Raingauge - Model Model HS305

The HS305 rain gauge operates on the tipping bucket principle. The unit is used in places with high level of precipitation.

The 305mm diameter funnel collects the rainfall which is strained by a metal gauze before being passed into the synthetic ceramic coated tipping bucket measuring system. The unit includes dual output reed switches with varistor protection. Tips of the bucket occur with each 1.0mm of precipitation collected and a reed switch detects these events to produce a momentary contact closure pulse for logging into our Data Logger(optional).
The data can be collected from the logger remotely using a GSM modem (optional)or manually using a laptop.
